What's in the pack

Four answers, every month

Most owners don't need more reports — they need the right four, arriving without being asked, in language that doesn't require an accounting course.

Cash position — what you have and where it sitsMonthly
Profit by month — the trend, not just the totalMonthly
Top expenses, ranked — where the money actually goesMonthly
Receivables aging — who owes you, and for how longMonthly

Where it fits

Between "the books are done" and "I need a CFO"

Monthly bookkeeping makes your numbers correct. The dashboard makes them useful — a monthly briefing you can read in five minutes, spot the drift in (shrinking cash, a customer quietly aging past 60 days, an expense line creeping up), and act on. And because it's generated from books we already keep, it's a flat $150/month add-on — not a consulting engagement. When the questions get bigger than the briefing — forecasting, pricing, a bank conversation — that's what fractional CFO is for.

Questions

Before you ask

Is this the same as your fractional CFO service?

No — it’s the lighter sibling. The dashboard is your numbers, briefed: a standardized monthly report pack with no meetings attached. Fractional CFO is a person in the room — forecasting, budgets, and strategy built with you. Plenty of businesses run on the dashboard for years; some graduate to the full service when decisions get bigger.

What does it cost?

$150/month, flat, added to your bookkeeping fee — CA$150 for Canadian clients, US$150 for U.S. clients — confirmed in writing before it starts, same as everything else we do. No meters, no surprises.

Can I ask questions about what’s in the reports?

Quick clarifications, always — "what’s this line?" is part of the service. When a question grows into "what should I do about it?", that’s a working session: we’ll tell you before the meter starts, and for recurring strategy needs the fractional CFO service is the honest next step.

Do I need to be a bookkeeping client?

Yes — the reports are generated from books we keep, which is exactly why they’re affordable and accurate. Canadian and U.S. bookkeeping clients alike can add it. If your books live elsewhere, the path in is our monthly bookkeeping; the dashboard bolts on from there.

See what your numbers have been trying to tell you.

If we already keep your books, the dashboard can start next month. If not, a 15-minute call starts both.
